our last Tuesday in Thailand!! sad, but exciting all at the same time! We meet up with the rest of the team Thursday Morning. We're all going to meet at the house Elise is staying at and then leaving our luggage there. We rented transportation up and back from the border. So we'll leave the big stuff behind and just take a backpack. After that we'll get on a bus and head to ChiangMai and arive there @ night and get to the hotel to sleep in a real bed and have a real shower!! we're all looking forward to it! but back to here... and what we're doing now... We've been teaching english Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. half with the 4 older kids then the other half, and me, with the 6 younger kids. then on Wed. and Saturday we do worship and teach them new songs. We taught them "Lord i lift your name on High" with actions the first week and did it @ church the first SUnday here. Then this last week we taught them "this little light of mine" with our made up actions and did it @ church again! they r so cute! but they do a mix of Thai songs and english all with actions and we try to follow the best we can, but mostly we do it for a laugh! We do practical work in the morning when the kids are at school. We've mostly been helping him start his garden. Today we built a chicken coop for the new members of the family! hahah we finsihed building the bamboo fence around the fish pond. and cut a ton of ginger that they'll be planting soon. the rest escapes my mind at the moment! but i've been so proud of the students i'm with!! they've done amazing!!
ohhh... guess what!! on Sunday we were just hangin out with the kids and all of them except for 3 have LICE!!! oh my gosh!! the girls freaked out! hahahah i kinda laughed. but we pinned our hair back and had to put some stuff on their head. we also got some stuff and put it on ours just incase, but who knows. as of now we don't have it, but the kids still do. we still have 2 days left to "dodge the jumping lice" as we like to say! hahahh but that would really suck if we get it right before we meet up with the rest of our team! hahah ok... MISS YOU ALL AND thank you so much for all of your prayers. things would not have been as smooth with out them!!

please leave the lice in Thailand! That would be the pits to have lice on the plane home....yuck! I never thought about that when on a plane! From now on I am going to put something over the back of MY seat! Thanks for being so diligent in updating your blog!
Love ya,
Mom
