2 weeks to go!

Sorry updates have been rare lately. computers r hard to come by in the MIDDLE OF NO WHERE! hahah but we're still alive and have one week to go here in ChainaRai. We just got back from Somecharts (the guy who runs the House of Union) village, in the Mountain!! Wow that was a packed 2 days! we drove up there Wed. morning, had lunch and got right to work. We hiked down this mountain trail to the ginger field. And Somecharts mom and grandma were already down there digging it up. so we followed them and put all the ginger into big bags. the view was AMAZING!! wow!! and after all the ginger was dugg up the fun part began, getting it back up to the house! the path was prob 3/4 of a mile, or it felt like that, uphill!! and A couple of us had 2 bags of HEAVY ginger!! that was a slow walk up with lots of breaks. After that we passed out for an hour. and then woke up to KILL DINNER!?!? hahahah that's right, we killed our dinner, well CJ killed our dinner b/c the rest of us were to girlie to go through with it. so he Shot a chicken with a musket, old school. And then he chopped the head of a duck off!! and the body kept moving for like 15 min. after!! hahahah we slept there and then painted a house the next day! it was a high light to a lot of the students trip!! ok... gonna be late for dinner so i better go. Tonight is movie night with the kids, we're watching "school of Rock" !! hahahah miss you all and thank you for all of your prayers!!
