Beauty of Simplicity

Nomaskar= HELLO in Bangla!
Donobaht= THANK YOU in bangla
Those are the 2 most used phrases by our team! we've had a full last 2 days of ministry. We have work duties every other day, and they range from anything from cutting huge vines down, or helping in their tomato garden, preparing lunch and dinner, or cleaning up around the base... i really enjoy our work duty times because we get to hang out with the staff here and learn from them. The staff here are amazing! we've really become one big loud, laughing family! 3 of them know really good english and the rest of them know enough to hold a small conversation, so every night we've been having english class. Some nights we teach them english and help them with pronunciation, and other nights we teach them different drama's we know.

On Thursday the base fasts breakfast every week, so we joined them in doing that. then after work duties we had a prayer and worship time, that i lead. i love worshiping with these guys! then our team shared our testimonies with them, with translation. And then... WE WENT TO THE ZOO!! it was one of the students first time to the zoo! we had a lot of fun, and we brought tracks with us and made some friends too. after the zoo we went over to the base directors house for tea and biscuits, a normal thing here:) Then dinner, and english class, we taught them 2 new skits! They love drama's and pick them up so fast.

Friday is Bangladesh's Sunday, so everyone has off. So we went and did "sunday school" in 2 different villages. My group did 2 different ones, the first with younger kids and the 2nd with youth. And after lunch we went to a girls dormitory to put on a 1 1/2 program. We had gone to church there last sunday, and they invited us back. IT WENT SO GOOD! first they did some dances for us, then we did 2 drama's for them and one of our students taught about being desperate for God. Then we opened it up for questions and answers. Sam and I stood at the front with our translator, waiting for the first question... they are so shy at first. but once that first question came, it was hard to stop them. They asked some really good questions, and sam and i got really excited and we had some good conversations! and last night we taught the ywam staff 2 more skits.

And today is our day off! and we leave this city on Tuesday, and i am so sad. I've made 2 really close friends here! they have been such a blessing to have! Monday night we're having a big dinner together, the last supper! tear, tear :(
I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH!!!
