Today is Tuesday
We got here on Thursday and had orientation with Emmi, one of our Thai contacts. Elise and i were wasted and went to bed @ a whopping 7:30 pm!! hahah Traveling takes everything out of me. But it was one of the smoothest traveling times ever, even though we had so many!! the team did Great! i was sick The morning we left and for the first flight, but slept for most of the first flight and felt better. I was sick, i think because i was on medication for a parasite that i had gotten in Cambodia. But Friday we jumped right into it. We split into 3 different groups and went to the universities for lunch. I went to CMU, one of the main ones and the same one i went to last trip. it was so fun to go back there. My group did awesome! we connected with a couple girls and got their e-mails. That night I took 10 students with me to WonGeneration, the coffee shop that i worked with last time. Their now only open on Friday nights. So last friday was Cereal night. They had American cereal, strawberries and other toppings. We had fun, not a ton of students showed. I was hoping that my friends would of come, but they were busy.
Saturday Emmi took us to DociTep, the famous temple that over looks ChiangMai. We hiked up all the millions of steps and passed out the tickets to get in and had one extra. Elise and i were trying to figure out why... WE HAD LEFT ONE OF THE STUDENTS AT THE HOUSE!!! we felt HORRIBLE!! so we called the house and talked to her and apologized, and told her we'd pick her up when we were done, before we went to the market. Oooopsss! so we walked around the temple and it was Nice to have Emmi with this time because last time i was up there we didn't have a Thai with us, so i had so many questions to ask. and this time i got some answers. WE went to a market by our house next and gave the students extra lunch money to buy something that they would normally never buy, something that they've never seen before. They came back w/ some crazy stuff!
Sunday we went to a church. They had English translation, so that was nice. they asked us 5 minutes before the service started if we could sing a song during the offering. Of course, we would love to! hahahah so when the time came all 19 of us went onto the stage and one of the students, Christy, grabbed the guitar and we sang "How Great is Our God". Then after service we ate lunch there. They served us! So after, we did the whole churches dishes!
Monday Elise and i put together, with one of our Thai Friends, a Scavenger hunt for the team. So we sent them on that because the Universities were closed for a government holiday. We told them they couldn't come back before 3pm. we wanted to make them go explore and get out of our neighborhood. And we needed time to figure out our ministry schedule. We were lacking in the ministry area and praying hard for more things to appear for us to do. And that morning they did!! After we figured that out, we turned on the Christmas music and Decorated our house! it was so fun! That night 2 of the girls went to hang our with their new Thai friend and we had a team dinner.
Today i'm meeting up with my friends, from last time, for dinner. I'm so excited to see them!
Ministry:
7 people, including Elise, r going to MaiSot, a city 6 hours away. They leave this sunday and come back next Thursday. They're gonna be working with refuge, poor schools. they're bringing up Christmas presents and putting on a Christmas program for them. They're working with the Al, the guy who is renting the house to us.

Then the rest of us, 6, we're working w/ a couple long termers who do an English club. WE're gonna be going to the class tomorrow and Friday, just to interact with them and teach a little. And then we're putting together a christmas party for them On Monday.
Then On Sunday we're going to a neighborhood and doing a kids christmas program! busy busy!
