LIFE!!!!

IT"S SNOWING RIGHT NOW!!!! It hasen't snowed in Izmir for like 25 years!! crazy!! so it's pretty cold and wet! But we leave tomorrow for Ephesus! so we're all packed and we cleaned our appt. today!
Friday Chaz, who went to school for food stuff, made a fabulouse dinner! i helped him out we got in the kitchen @ 3:00 and we finished @ 5:30! We had Steak, Mushrooms stuffed w/ turkey bacon, shrimp, and the mushroom steams (all cooked before) also stuffed Peppers w/ the same stuff, then potatoes and sausage, bread w/ melted cheese in the middle... We put newspaper down on the table and spread the potatoes and sausage out on it! We invited one of the couples that my team, sports team, worked w/. so IT WAS SOOO GOOD!!
Saturday Chaz, Nate, Randell, Josiah, Holli and i went to one of the many malls here and played darts and pool! I bet Chaz twice in Darts!! oh yeah:-) And Chaz helped Holli and i in our pool skills. Then we went back for dinner and then left right away for the English club we put on every Saturday night. It's kinda a coffee house setting. There were a lot of Turkish people there!!! We played a couple games. Then we did one funny skit and then we did a deeper skit on the crucifiction of Jesus! it went well! Tuba, my Turkish friend, was there! we talked a lot and then we said our finall good-bye.
Sunday we went to church and then we went to dinner @ one of the longtermers house. It was wonderful. We talked w/ them of the postives and negetives of our time here. and then we ate a home cooked meal. Then we watched 'Interperter'!! We all kinda forgot we were in Turkey for a little bit, b/c it was nice to be in a different enviornment!
Monday was our day to pack, but the sports team (Chaz, Nate, Josiah, Holli and i) plus Randell were invited to go w/ Ilhan (our Turkish friend that works at the resturant we eat at everyday). It was his day off and he wanted to hang out w/ us. So We had such a fun day!! It was sooo cold though, one of the coldest since we've been here. But we went to this carnival thing, and rode Bumper cars!! SOOO FUNNY!!! Big Chaz in a small car!! then we went to the Izmir Zoo for one dollar. Well, it wasn't the San Diego zoo. It was fun though.
Today we deep cleaned the Appt.. It was so gross! But we're done w/ that and we're so excited to go to Ephesus tomorrow b/c we did a in-depth bible study on Ephesians! Sooo cool! Well, talk to ya later... LOVE YOU ALL!!! GOD BLESS!
