Update of "last Year" :0)

It's been to long, and i am really sorry! it's hard to find the time to get down town and to a computer these days! but... New Years was FUN!! we came down town to a block party and danced until the next year! we had a BBQ earlier with some of our Fijian friends also. Then this morning us leaders made chocolate chip pancakes for everyone! yummy!!! ummm, the past! well, the Island of Nairai was AMAZING!! i got to go crab hunting one night with some of the village girls. Pitch black and my flashlight went dead!! dangit!! There r 5 villages on the island. we visited some of them, but not all. We held a youth service and kids from the other villages came too! It turned out Great!! after we were done they stayed around and asked more questions about what we talked about and stuff!! soo cool! God is definitely working there!! We had to send one of our students home early. So after being in Nairai for only a week me, Buna (one of our Fijian contacts, she also staffed my school), and the student had to return to Suva. The student caught a flight out Sunday, christmas eve, and Buna and i were left to an empty house! @ first it was a little said because we were away from our outreach "family", but we got over it and enjoyed our mini vacation. the team returned on wed. a week later. One day off and then back to work. On Friday we went to the "home of Compassion", old folks home. We helped them out with some yard work and went back there again on Saturday. Also on Friday after our yard work, we went to the girls prison!! we shared a couple skits and 2 of the girls gave their testimony's and spoke and then we played a game and hung out with them. i got to hang out with these 3 women!! they were so funny and all of them were Christian and one had just become one while being in the prison!! i think we'll be going back there this Friday again for 3 HOURS!! hurray!! well, i hope that caught u guys up a little on my life here in Fiji.
